In the fashion world bad things don’t happen in threes. A trifecta signals an established trend – an understated acknowledgment between designers of a new movement in style. The fall/winter NYFW shows just wrapped on Monday and if there’s one, overarching theme – minimalism is definitely out. I’ve curated the three prevailing trends.
As mass retailers, scouring for inspo, will jettison these three trends from the runway for their windows, racks, and .coms. Get a head start by incorporating them into your spring wardrobe
1. Fur forward
The lux addition cropped up as an accent throughout fashion week, but was best executed as a full-blown skirt at Oscar de la Renta. They must be paying homage to the late Mr. O. Either way, it looks good.

2. ‘70s stage
These creations are more fit for center stage than the music that defined the counterculture decade.

3. Prints with pizazz
Stand out graphics and animal prints ran concurrently with the ’70s hippie craze. The two trends are an unlikely match in fashion’s new rulebook – where boldness prevails.
